건망증이 심한 여행객은 호텔 방 금고에 신발 한 짝을 넣어둔다. 체크아웃할 때 신발을 신지 않고 나갈 수는 없으니 금고 안의 귀중품뿐 아니라 여권·휴대폰 등 다른 소지품도 두루두루 챙기게 된다.
