These days, I'm really into running.
It's been almost a year and according to my running mate 'Nike Run Club' record, I have run around 400km.
Considering this distance, I've run from Seoul to Busan.
I feel a sense of pride and self-esteem. Like, "I'm still healthy!, I nailed it!, Let's take a trip around the world by foot. Why not?"
The reason I began running is this was the only sports I could enjoy these days. It doesn't require much money, and doesn't need special spaces or schedules. In the past, I often enjoyed swimming or tennis, but it always requires reservation process and money and I guess I was really exhausted by the process. Feels like reserving as a soldier preparing for a war, draining my bank account, and dealing with so many people at the place. Somehow, this might be the reason I choose running at the evening, becuase there are not many pedestrains on the street and I can run wihtout stress and with free of charge. The comfort and beauty of the Seoul streets I experience are a bonus.
While running, I usually listen to my music playlist. Depending on my condition and vibe that day, I pick various types of music randomly, but mostly I love listening to old songs that give me strength and courage. When I let my body follow the beat and rhythm of the music, I can temporarily forget all my worries and stress just disappear.
Just the thought of going for a run today makes me excited. Let's go out running today as usual!
