이 세상을 만든 창조주가 인간과 연필을 한쪽으로 데리고 가더니 연필에게 먼저 말했다. ”네가 세상에 나가기 전에 결코 잊지 말아야 할 다섯 가지가 있다. 그러면 최고의 연필이 될 수 있을 것이다.”

“첫째, 너 자신을 다른 사람 손에 쥐어지도록 허용해야 큰일을 할 수 있다.”

“셋째, 어떤 실수를 범하더라도 네게 의지만 있다면 고칠 수 있고 바로잡을 수 있다.
“넷째, 너의 가장 중요한 부분은 네 속 안에 있다.
“다섯째, 어떤 조건에서도 포기하지 않고 계속 써나가야 한다.

“셋째, 실수하는 것을 두려워하지 마라.”
“넷째, 가장 중요한 건 어떻게 보이느냐가 아니라 네가 무엇을 생각하고 느끼느냐는 것이다."
“다섯째, 어떤 상황에서든 네가 해야 할 일을 꿋꿋이 해나가야 이 세상을 떠날 때 족적을 남길 수 있다.”
First, let you make use of the gifts you possess to the others. It helps you to achieve a big success.
Second, while you go through various problems, you must experience lots of pains, but remember that it is the essential process of becoming a stronger and better person.
Third, don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
Fourth, the most important thing is not how you look like but how you feel and what you think.
Fifth, no matter what the situation you face, you must keep over what you have to do now, then before your leaving this world, you are able to leave your legacy.
