남성이 여성의 환심을 사기 위해 꼬드기는 말을 영어로는 pickup line이라고 한다. 속된 말로 ‘작업 멘트’를 뜻한다. 서먹서먹한 분위기를 깨면서 웃음과 감동을 자아내 곧바로 ‘진도’ 나가게 해주는 촌철살인 한마디를 말한다. 그중에도 크리스마스 때 상대를 ‘심쿵’하게 만드는 ‘작업 멘트’들은 따로 있다. 예를 들면 이런 것들이다.
